We have several opportunities to participate in public demonstrations this fall. Please come out and join us!

Dogmart

We will again be participating at the Fredericksburg Dogmart at the Spotsylvania chapter of the Izaak Walton league (https://fredericksburgdogmart.com) on Saturday, September 28th. Please plan to join us in your best approximation of early colonial garb (early 1600s, so any Tudor/Elizabeth you have should work just fine) and help demonstrate rapier fencing and arts & sciences under our dayshade. We will have a display on the history of dogs and you are welcome to bring your canine companions as well. At noon we will participate in the recreation of the original trade between the English colonists and the Pamunkey that is the origins of the Dogmart festival (https://fredericksburgdogmart.com/history/).

Adventure Brewing Ren Fest

This demonstration that was planned to be in June is finally happening on Saturday, October 12th at noon at Adventure Brewing North (35 Perchwood Dr, Fredericksburg, VA 22405-4516, United States). We will have a dayshade, room for arts demonstrations, rapier fencing and dancing. Dancing will be at 2pm following by fencing.
